Shakespeare & Co. is a book shop in the 5th, a stone’s throw away from Notre Dame. It’s been around in Paris since the beginning of the 20th century, and is often a haven for British or American tourists. I very much enjoyed photographing the library on the 1st floor. The shop is full of nooks and crannies where haggard copies of ancient books can be discovered.

That second photo is beauuuuutiful. It makes me want to gobble up those books like the F&M pictures make me want to gobble the chocolates!
