Street Photography II, or, ‘In the Metro’

This, the second post in a street photography series, focuses on the Parisian metro, and the characters found in it.

These are two of the more controversial photographs I’ve taken.

The Bard in Paris

Shakespeare & Co. is a book shop in the 5th, a stone’s throw away from Notre Dame. It’s been around in Paris since the beginning of the 20th century, and is often a haven for British or American tourists. I very much enjoyed photographing the library on the 1st floor. The shop is full of nooks and crannies where haggard copies of ancient books can be discovered.
